Astemo宇都宮ブリッツェンは、2009年創設の日本初の地域密着型自転車プロロードレースチームです。栃木県宇都宮市を拠点に、国内外のレースで活躍し、「地域と共に走る」をモットーに地域振興と自転車文化の普及に貢献しています。
サイクルツーリズムやファン交流イベントを通じて、スポーツと地域社会を結びつけ、宇都宮清原クリテリウムや宇都宮ジャパンカップなどの大会では、サイクルシティ宇都宮を全国に発信。地域に根差しながら日本ロードレース界を牽引する存在です。
Astemo Utsunomiya Blitzen is Japan’s first community-based professional road cycling team, established in 2009.
Based in Utsunomiya City, Tochigi Prefecture, the team competes both domestically and internationally. Guided by its motto, “Riding together with the community,” the team contributes to regional development and the promotion of cycling culture.
Through initiatives such as cycle tourism and fan engagement events, the team connects sport with the local community. In major events like the Utsunomiya Kiyohara Criterium and the Utsunomiya Japan Cup, the team helps promote Utsunomiya as a leading “Cycle City” across Japan.
Rooted in the local community, Astemo Utsunomiya Blitzen continues to play a leading role in the Japanese road racing scene.
